Clients have included PE firms, government agencies (bad banks), investment banks, commercial banks, servicers, family offices and private corporates.

Holistic approach which utilises a thorough understanding of: real estate, real estate debt and operating businesses in key sectors such as healthcare and leisure; the key drivers from both a seller and buyer perspective, the structuring of transactions, commercial and legal due diligence and legal documentation.

Access to a very broad network of potential buyers (from PE/RE Funds, SWFs to Trade Buyers and Family Offices) to create competitive tension and ensure that we select the most suitable partners and optimise transaction terms for our clients. We also have very strong working relationships with all the key legal, valuation and due diligence firms to ensure we can manage the process efficiently and facilitate solutions should issues arise.

The “Brookland approach” has resulted in significant successes for our clients ensuring that sales proceeds are at the higher end of the expected spectrum (sale of Boots portfolio) or a sale is completed when others attempting to sell have failed (sale of the NHP nursing home business) or a successful acquisition is completed in a very challenging bidding process (e.g. acquisition of Royal Mint Court).
